Washington D.C. 95th Anniversary
Sing-a-Long:

We had a great time at the 95th anniversary celebration. Maybe next time (the 100th celebration) it would be good to stay the night before, so we can see more of the awesome things in the capital city. It may also be a good idea to get working on your SWAPs now! We discovered that SWAPS are a very big part of the celebration.

Christmas Caroling in Malvern Borough:
Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007
2:30-4:00pm
St. Patrick Parish Center,
Channing Avenue in Malvern
We will meet downstairs at St. Patrick Parish Center, where troops will be assigned to an area and provided with maps. After caroling, we will return to the Parish Center for snacks and a SWAPS exchange.
Each participating troop is asked to bring: 
1 package of cookies
1 bag of pretzels or chips
SWAPS for exchange
Hot chocolate, water, cups, napkins, and plates will be provided.

We got to find out about the new things install for us for the 2008 Cookie Sale. Girls got to sample cookies, see the new sales incentives, find out about how to earn a special "Goal Getter" patch (see http://www.abcsmartcookies.com for details), and do a fun spin art frisbee!

| Great Valley Service Unit Sing-a-long
October 21, 2007
Samantha, Mary Grace, Jessica, Vanessa, Caroline, and Jenna did a great job teaching/leading the Service Unit with "The Princess Pat." It was a beautiful day for getting together with many of the girl scouts from Daisies to Seniors in our Service Unit.
