Our first (official) campfire!

We had a great time kicking off the new school year of Girl Scouting at the Great Valley Service Unit Campout. Mrs. Peterson had completed outdoor cooking training, so we learned how to build a campfire, and cook in a box oven. We made stew pockets, and a pineapple upsidedown cake - YUM! The older girl troops led many activity stations. The orienteering/letterboxing station, and Tea party were just a couple of favorites.
